This is Painswick Players' 86th season.

'Twas back in the summer of 1923 that Miss Lucy Hyett produced Shakespeare’s As You Like It in her back garden, the idyllic grounds of Painswick House.

Since 1923, we have staged some 200 productions which can be viewed on the Our Productions page.

Our 80th Anniversary was celebrated in 2003 with Living Legends.

We rehearse and perform our productions at the Painswick Centre, Bisley Street, Painswick.

In 2005 we added The Young Painswick Players known as ‘The Yippies’ with an age range between 8 and 16.

We hold monthly play readings for entertainment and to encourage new members. They are a fun and informal so come along and see if you like it.
